Stan (formerly known as Lopsided Oreo)
If u modify a Jeep Wrangler heavily, easily it will weighs 5,500 pounds, so what Mopar did was creating a lightweight model and it really works. The result is Pork Chop because all the fat has been trimmed.
Originally it was 4,240-pound. It lost 850 pounds by :
front bumper
rear bumper
Replacements of bumpers
Removal of doors
Removal of tailgateUsing a lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber unit hood = 8 pounds
right fender
left fender
Using a lightweight all four fenders
Removal of all the carpetingUsing a lighter gas tank
Using Sparco Chrono Road bucket seats
On the off-road capability, it was not forgotten. Added :
an aluminum cold air intake
long-tube headers leading to a dual-exhaust with integrated H-pipe
Bilstein two-inch shock setup
TeraFlex air bumps upgrade the suspension
